Mid Autumn Festival

Last week, I was invited to join a group of my friends in the performing scene to have a stroll at the Chinese Garden. This is one of the very rare times where I get to go out with these people on a day where we do not have a performance.

It was unbelievable that we took 2 1/2 hrs in the garden that night. Though the decorations weren't as fascinating as before, it was still a beautiful sight. There were different buildings from all over the world decorated in lights. There was the Taj Palace, Pyramid, Eiffel Tower, Chichén Itzá, Leaning Tower of Pisa, and many more. We acted like tourists taking pictures everywhere.

Towards the end of the stroll, one of my friend suggested that we climb the tower which over looks the garden, claiming that it would be a beautiful sight. Reluctantly, we joined her, and by the time we reached the 7th floor, all of us were so out of breathe. But she was right. It was a beautiful sight indeed.

I got myself a drawing for my chinese name. It looks amazing. The artiste was able to draw characters using birds, butterflies, mountains, trees, and many other creatures, to form the characters. I will post the picture up once I receive it.

Overall, I enjoyed myself and had fun that night. We decided that we shall have another gathering soon. This time for a BBQ session. Looking forward to it. *wink*
